Job Description
- The position of Python Automation Testing requires a candidate with 3-10 years of experience in Bangalore with a notice period of 15 days or immediate joiners. The F2F interview process consists of an L1 Technical Round (Basic) & L2 Advanced Technical Round. Please note that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for the face-to-face interview round. As a Technical lead, you will be responsible for developing end-to-end Test automation scripts & solutions for web/mobile applications testing. You should have good experience & strong knowledge in Python programming with Object Oriented Programming methodologies, web/mobile application UI automation & related tools/packages (like selenium/appium), and exposure to different testing methodologies & QA exposure and any standard test framework (like pytest, unit test etc). You must possess very good analytical & logical thinking skills, the ability to handle challenges & resolve blockers independently, and be self-driven with accountability and ownership of problems to achieve team goals & contribute independently. Being a good team player, proactive in giving new ideas/suggestions/solutions & providing constructive analysis of team members" ideas is essential. Hands-on experience with different tools such as Testing tool, Version Control systems (Git), Test Management Software, Bug Tracking software, and CI tools (Jenkins etc.) is required. Knowledge on CI/CD & DevOps is considered a good-to-have skill. Your responsibilities will include understanding the application/domain end to end, taking ownership of an application from a QA perspective, and developing Test automation scripts. Designing, implementing, and maintaining automation scripts with robust quality in a python-based automated test framework is crucial. You will be expected to analyze automation execution failures in an end-to-end CI/CD system, identify insights on software quality, build a deeper understanding of the product/application, and proactively identify areas to improve the quality of the product through automation. Proactively identifying areas of improvement in automation, framework, tools continuously, and collaborating with developers, QA engineers to resolve blockers independently are key responsibilities. Being ready to work with teams in the US and attending nightly meetings is also part of the job requirement.,
