Software Developer (PHP) @ Indian MNC

Job Description

As a skilled PHP Software Developer, you will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and maintaining web applications utilizing PHP and frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, database management (e.g., MySQL), security implementation, and ensuring application performance and quality are key aspects of this role. Your key responsibilities will include developing scalable and efficient PHP code, designing and optimizing databases, working closely with front-end developers, UX/UI designers, and product managers, writing unit tests, and debugging code. Additionally, you will be required to maintain technical documentation, stay updated on industry trends, and propose enhancements for continuous improvement. To excel in this role, you should possess proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Laravel or Symfony. Experience with MySQL, version control using Git, knowledge of RESTful APIs, and familiarity with web security principles are essential. Moreover, familiarity with front-end technologies such as React or Vue.js is considered advantageous. Preferred qualifications for this position include a degree in Computer Science or a related field, experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies, familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure, and knowledge of DevOps practices. This is a full-time position that offers Provident Fund benefits. The work schedule is during the day shift, from Monday to Friday, at the designated in-person work location.,
