Java Automation Testing @ Indian MNC

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Java Automation Test Engineer to join our QA team. The ideal candidate should have practical experience in developing automation scripts using Java and Selenium. Additionally, a solid grasp of the software testing life cycle and various tools is desired. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts utilizing Java and Selenium. You will be involved in regression, functional, integration, and system testing. Collaborating with developers and the QA team to detect, log, and monitor bugs is essential. Maintaining and improving existing test frameworks, creating test plans, cases, and generating reports are part of the role. You will be working with tools such as TestNG, Maven, Git, Jenkins, and JIRA to ensure test coverage, quality, and application stability across builds. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. - Proficient in Java programming. - Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, TestNG/JUnit. - Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins. - Knowledge of Maven/Gradle and Git version control system. - Experience using bug tracking tools such as JIRA. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Good to Have: - Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman and Rest Assured. - Exposure to performance testing tools like JMeter. - Knowledge of BDD frameworks like Cucumber.
