Job Description
- As an Accounting Operations Analyst at Finastra, you will report to the Accounting Operations Senior Manager in Bangalore and be an integral part of the Global Finance organization. Your primary responsibilities will include reviewing customer contracts, interpreting them to determine revenue, and ensuring accurate accounting in compliance with the Revenue Accounting Policy of Finastra and IFRS15. You will record both Recurring Revenue and Revenue from contracts for the period, prepare monthly or quarterly reports for legal entities under your supervision, and provide support for Group Audit, Statutory Audit, and Internal Audits as needed. Additionally, you will oversee a team of 4-6 individuals, review controls and processes, and suggest improvements. You will represent the team as a revenue subject matter expert in various projects. The ideal candidate for this role is a Qualified Chartered Accountant with at least 2 years of post-qualification experience, with a strong background in Revenue Accounting. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general ledger software is essential, and experience with Oracle NetSuite is preferred.
