Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Submittals Coordinator to support our lighting design and engineering team. This role involves preparing and organizing lighting fixture specification sheets, sourcing data from manufacturers, and compiling technical submittals using ParSpec software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create, format, and organize lighting fixture specification sheets.
- Research and download fixture datasheets and catalogs from manufacturer websites.
- Prepare structured technical submittals using ParSpec.
- Collaborate with design and procurement teams to ensure submittals meet client and project requirements.
- Maintain an organized database of approved submittals for ongoing and future projects.
Requirements:
- 13 years of experience in lighting specification, MEP submittals, or technical documentation.
- Familiarity with lighting products, fixture types, and specifications.
- Working knowledge of tools such as ParSpec, AutoCAD, DIALux/Relux, or Revit (added advantage).
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PDF editing, and basic documentation tools.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to join immediately or within short notice.
Preferred Background:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Civil Engineering
- Experience in MEP, electrical design, or lighting industry preferred
