Job Description
Job Title: Linux Administrator L3
Location: Hinjewadi, Pune
Experience Required: Minimum 5 Years
Work Mode: Onsite (6 days working from office)
Shift Schedule: Includes 67 night shifts per month
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Linux Administrator (L3) who can manage and support large-scale enterprise infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in RHEL administration, troubleshooting, patching, and automation, along with proven experience handling environments with thousands of servers. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work under pressure, and a proactive approach to maintaining high availability and performance of critical systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform end-to-end administration of RHEL (7/8/9) environments.
- Manage server patching, upgrades, and performance tuning to ensure system reliability.
- Implement and support High Availability solutions using Pacemaker / PCS Clustering.
- Troubleshoot complex system issues across large-scale infrastructures (20003000+ servers).
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Shell and Ansible to optimize daily operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure infrastructure stability and scalability.
- Provide on-call and night shift support as part of rotational schedules.
- Maintain documentation, best practices, and compliance with security standards.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong hands-on expertise with RHEL 7/8/9 administration.
- Deep knowledge of troubleshooting, patching, and performance optimization.
- Advanced exposure to High Availability clustering (Pacemaker / PCS).
- Proven experience in managing enterprise-scale environments with 20003000 servers.
- Proficiency in Shell scripting and Ansible automation.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
- Exposure to OpenShift or other containerization technologies.
- Experience with hybrid cloud or virtualization environments.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and structured incident/problem management.
