About this Role
As a Product Owner within an Agile team at VOIS, you will play a pivotal role in delivering value through each iteration. You will be responsible for defining user stories, prioritising the team backlog, and ensuring alignment with business goals. This role demands a collaborative mindset, a customer-centric approach, and a strong understanding of Agile principles, particularly within the SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) environment.

What you will do
- Backlog Management
- Own and maintain the team backlog.
- Write clear and concise user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria.
- Prioritise backlog items based on business value, dependencies, and stakeholder input.
- Ensure backlog visibility and transparency for all stakeholders.
- Iteration Planning
- Collaborate with the Agile team during iteration planning to define and commit to deliverables.
- Clarify story details and ensure readiness for development.
- Support the team in understanding the scope and expectations of each story.
- Story Acceptance
- Review and accept completed stories during the iteration.
- Ensure deliverables meet the Definition of Done (DoD) and align with business expectations.
- Collaboration
- Work closely with Product Management to understand features and priorities.
- Partner with the Scrum Master to facilitate team processes.
- Engage with System Architects/Engineering for technical alignment.
- Liaise with Business Owners and Stakeholders to gather feedback and align on priorities.
- Participation in SAFe Events
- Actively participate in PI (Program Increment) Planning, Iteration Planning, Daily Stand-ups (as needed), System Demos, and Inspect and Adapt (I&A) workshops.
- Customer-Centric Mindset
- Champion the voice of the customer throughout the development lifecycle.
- Ensure the team is building the right product with the right quality.
What skills you need
- Proven experience as a Product Owner in an Agile environment.
- Strong understanding of SAFe Agile principles and practices.
- Proficiency in writing user stories and defining acceptance criteria.
- Ability to prioritise and manage a dynamic backlog.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including engineering, architecture, and business stakeholders.
