About this Role
The Asset Marketplace BAU Support role is a key position within the Global Network Logistics Support function, responsible for ensuring seamless operations of the Network Stock Solution (NSS) system, which is a core component of the EVO Financial system. NSS serves as the primary platform for managing network inventory and physical assets across Vodafone local markets. This role acts as the single point of contact (SPOC) for BAU support, bridging local market teams and IT Operations to resolve queries, provide training, and drive strategic utilization of aged inventory.
Who are you
You are a logistics and inventory management professional with a strong analytical mindset and a collaborative approach. You bring at least three years of experience in warehouse and logistics operations, ideally within a reputed organization. You are proficient in SAP WM, Power BI, and SQL, and have a passion for data-driven decision-making. You are committed to continuous improvement and thrive in a global, cross-functional environment.
What you will do
- Provide timely support to Vodafone local markets on Asset Marketplace-related queries, issues, and training needs.
- Manage day-to-day operations and ensure business continuity through effective issue resolution.
- Perform logistics analytics and contribute to analytics projects, including testing and end-to-end delivery.
- Identify opportunities for aged inventory utilization and support local markets in selling through the Asset Marketplace.
- Generate exception and BAU governance reports to support decision-making.
- Engage closely with local market logistics teams and leadership to drive improvements.
- Track incidents and service requests, ensuring closure within SLA by coordinating with the EVO Service Desk.
- Prepare and deliver training materials tailored to market needs.
- Calculate savings for each request and collaborate with VPC CM and SCM SPOCs to record savings in Ariba.
- Make recommendations that align with supply chain and broader business objectives.
What skills you need
- Expertise in warehouse, logistics, and inventory management.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role within a reputed organization.
- Strong knowledge of SAP WM, Power BI, and SQL.
- Proven ability to identify and drive effective utilization of aged inventory across markets.
- Advanced data analytics capabilities.
- Educational qualifications: MBA, Postgraduate, MCA, or BE in Computer Science/Application.
- Understanding of IT technologies relevant to logistics operations.
