Job Description
We are preparing to launch our Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) SaaS platform in
the UAE market. To ensure a successful entry, we require a Dubai-based consultancy firm
that can guide our internal teams (Product, Development, UX, and Engineering) through
scoping the requirements. This engagement focuses on defining the market, regulatory,
technical, and user experience foundations needed for launch.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Consultant (Dubai-based)** to partner with Product Management to define end-
to-end launch requirements, including functional scope and regulatory readiness.
- Technical Team** to collaborate with Engineering teams to assess technical and
architectural adaptations (data residency, hosting, integrations, i18n/RTL support).
- UX Specialists** to work with Product and Design teams to validate cultural, linguistic,
and usability requirements for Arabic (RTL) and English users.
- Compliance Experts** to advise on UAE compliance and security requirements (data
privacy, residency laws, accessibility standards, governance practices).
- Market Analysts** to benchmark against regional competitors and recommend SaaS
adoption best practices for the UAE market.
- Project Team** to produce a Market Readiness Report with requirements traceability,
risk log, and clear ownership assignments for internal teams.Lead Consultant** to act as primary liaison between internal global teams and
regional stakeholders (regulators, advisors, prospective clients).
- Strategic Advisors** to provide phased recommendations (e.g., phased UI adaptation
vs. full parity) to guide Product/Development roadmap decisionsQualifications & Skills
- Proven track record in SaaS product launches / market entry in the Middle East
(preferably UAE).
- Team expertise covering Arabic language, UX norms, and RTL requirements.
- Deep knowledge of UAE data residency, compliance, and enterprise SaaS regulations.
- Strong understanding of enterprise SaaS platforms, ideally in GRC or adjacent domains.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional global teams across Product, Engineering, and
UX.
Lead Consultant Requirements:
- Based in Dubai, with ability to engage in person and virtually across Bengaluru,
Vancouver, and Budapest time zones.
- Primary point of contact and relationship management.
- Regional stakeholder engagement capabilities.
Engagement Scope
- Duration: 2-4 months
- Focus: Discovery & Market Readiness
- Team Structure: Dubai-based lead with specialized remote team members
- Deliverables:
- Regulatory & Compliance Readiness Checklist UAE-specific requirements for data
residency, privacy, security, and governance.
- Product Readiness Assessment evaluation of technical architecture (hosting,
integrations, i18n/RTL enablement).
- - UX Readiness Report Arabic/RTL usability and cultural requirements for product
teams.
- Competitive Benchmarking & Adoption Insights analysis of regional SaaS adoption
patterns and competitor practices.
- Market Readiness Report consolidated requirements, risks, and phased
recommendations to guide Product and Development roadmaps.
