Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer (OCI) with 8 12 years of expertise in cloud technologies. The ideal candidate should have deep knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) core services and proven experience in designing highly available, scalable, and secure architectures. This role requires hands-on technical skills along with the ability to ensure performance optimization, disaster recovery, and seamless service delivery.
We are looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer (OCI) with 8 12 years of expertise in cloud technologies. The ideal candidate should have deep knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) core services and proven experience in designing highly available, scalable, and secure architectures. This role requires hands-on technical skills along with the ability to ensure performance optimization, disaster recovery, and seamless service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage solutions using OCI core services including Compute, Networking, Storage, and Database.
Develop fault-tolerant and resilient architectures using OCI Availability Domains, Regions, and Backup/Recovery services.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize OCI environments for performance, security, and cost efficiency.
Implement High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions in line with business continuity requirements.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to support cloud migrations, deployments, and automation.|
Ensure compliance with security best practices and industry standards.
Provide technical guidance and support during cloud adoption and transformation initiatives.
Provision and de-provision user accounts, groups, and access permissions following company policies.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with Google support when necessary.
Implement and enforce security policies, including multi-factor authentication, data loss prevention, and compliance controls.
Provide technical support and training to end-users for Google Workspace applications.
Manage and maintain integrations with third-party tools and applications connected to Google Workspace.
Plan and execute migration projects or updates related to Google Workspace.
Maintain documentation on configurations, procedures, and best practices.
Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless communication and infrastructure support

8 12 years of experience in cloud engineering/solutions with at least 3 4 years in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
Strong knowledge of OCI services: Compute, Networking, Storage, and Databases.
Hands-on experience with High Availability and Disaster Recovery design in OCI.
Familiarity with automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, OCI CLI/SDK) is an added advantage.
Good understanding of cloud security principles and cost optimization strategies.
Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Flexibility to work in overlapping time zones with the US when required.
