Project Role :Cloud Platform EngineerProject Role Description :Designs, builds, tests, and deploys cloud application solutions that integrate cloud and non-cloud infrastructure. Can deploy infrastructure and platform environments, creates a proof of architecture to test architecture viability, security and performance. Must have skills :Oracle Database Administration (DBA)
Good to have skills :Oracle Exadata Database Machine, Exadata AdministrationMinimum 3 year(s) of experience is required

Summary:As a Cloud Platform Engineer, you will engage in the design, construction, testing, and deployment of cloud application solutions that seamlessly integrate both cloud and non-cloud infrastructures. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that the architecture is viable, secure, and performs optimally, while also creating proofs of concept to validate your designs. You will be responsible for deploying infrastructure and platform environments, ensuring that all components work together effectively to meet organizational goals and client needs. Your role will require a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous improvement in cloud technologies.
Roles & Responsibilities:Need to work directly with Project stakeholder to understand the requirement and the feasibility analysis.Good understanding system/database design, implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance Should have knowledge in multi- tenant architecture, RAC, Datagurad and at least one cloud technology (certification Preferred).Provide guidance and support to Application Developers during performance impactImpact assessment during any critical activityProactively and regularly make recommendations for system improvementsCollate, prepare and present statistical information for internal and external use
Professional & Technical
Skills:

Strong understanding on the entire Exadata landscape in terms of Hardware Landscape and the RACK. Strong knowledge on KVM(kernel Virtual Machine). Container database provision and CDB/PDB management Strong knowledge on Key Oracle Exadata features(Smartscan, Flashcache/HCC) System health management using Exachk/Sundiag Storage Capacity planning with effective database management. Full stack patch plan and apply ASR setup and management IORM and DBRM configuration and setup ILOM and PDU management Faulty Memory/Disk replacement Good experiences in RAC, data guard, backup & recovery, upgrade, Performance tuning and cloud control, Should have over all infrastructural architectural overview. Strong communication with analytical and problem solving mind to connect with the customers. To support the subordinates in both technical/behavioural competencies Need to take leadership during any critical issue or outage
Additional Information:- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration (DBA).- This position is based at our Kolkata office or Bangalore.- A 15 years full time education is required.Qualification15 years full time education
