Location: Pan India (Hexaware Location) other than Hexaware Location - Remote
Job Type: Full-time
Experience Level: Senior (Minimum 7+ years)
7 to 12 Years 14 LPA to 20 LPA
Need Immediate Joiner only / who can join in September.
Must Have:
- Candidates must have a background in Computer Science and Engineering
- Must have experience working in startups or product-based companies
Nice to Have:
- Must be graduates from top engineering colleges
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Backend Developer to join the EY Fabric Platform team. This role demands a strong foundation in Computer Science, exceptional backend development expertise, and a passion for solving complex problems through scalable and maintainable software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and development of robust backend systems and microservices.
Make sound architectural decisions balancing short-term needs with long-term scalability.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Drive Agile/Scrum practices and contribute to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
Mentor junior developers and contribute to team growth and excellence.
Ensure high-quality code through unit testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (must have a strong CS background).
Minimum 7 years of experience in backend development.
Must-Have Technical Skills
Programming Languages & Frameworks: C#, .NET Core, EF Core
Cloud & DevOps: Azure (including services like Blob Storage, Key Vault), Docker, Kubernetes
Databases: MongoDB (Document DB), PostgreSQL or MS SQL Server (Relational DB)
Software Design: Strong understanding of REST API design principles, microservices architecture, and end-to-end web application design
Development Tools: Git, Visual Studio, VS Code
Testing & Code Quality: Unit testing, clean code practices
Algorithms & Data Structures: Excellent problem-solving skills with a deep understanding of algorithms and data structures
Nice-to-Have Skills
Frontend experience (preferably React)
Experience leading development teams (12 years)
Exposure to AI/ML, Azure OpenAI, and ElasticSearch
Curiosity and ability to quickly learn new technologies
