Job Description
- The role of Senior Software Engineer - Integrations at Xurrent, Inc. involves being a crucial member in the development of Integrations with diverse platforms. By utilizing your expertise in Ruby on Rails and Workato, you will take charge of designing, coding, and deploying high-quality Integrations. Your primary objective will be to uphold technical excellence, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with various teams to deliver innovative product features. You will be responsible for leading the design and development of Integrations with different platforms, ensuring their robustness, scalability, and maintainability. Writing clean, efficient, and well-tested code that aligns with coding standards and best practices will also be a key part of your role. Moreover, you will mentor junior engineers, provide technical guidance, conduct thorough code reviews, and collaborate with other engineering leads to ensure optimal performance of systems. The ideal candidate for this position should possess extensive experience in Ruby on Rails development, a strong command of the Ruby language and Rails framework, and a proven track record of designing and implementing complex features and web applications. Proficiency in front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and their integration with back-end systems is crucial. Furthermore, problem-solving skills, leadership qualities, strong communication, and interpersonal skills are essential for effective collaboration across teams. Additionally, experience with database design and optimization, particularly with relational databases, ElasticSearch or OpenSearch, version control systems (git), continuous integration/delivery practices, and the ability to drive technical discussions, make architectural decisions, and shape technical strategy are highly desirable. Being self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to take ownership and drive results will be key to success in this role.,
