Job Description
- As a Firmware Developer at AriveGuru Technology Solutions Pvt. Ltd in Bengaluru, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing firmware for ESP32/ESP8266-based IoT devices. Your expertise in C and C++ programming languages will be crucial in writing efficient, modular, and scalable code using OOP concepts for embedded systems. Collaborating with hardware engineers, you will work on integrating and optimizing RTOS-based firmware solutions and implementing communication protocols such as UART, I2C, SPI, MQTT, Modbus, BLE, and Wi-Fi. Your role will involve debugging and troubleshooting firmware using tools like JTAG, Logic Analyzers, and Serial Debugging. You will also be expected to implement power management techniques for battery-operated IoT devices and maintain technical documentation for firmware development. Additionally, your strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently will be essential in this position. To qualify for this role, you should have at least 2 years of experience in firmware development for IoT devices and possess a strong understanding of ESP32/ESP8266 SDK. Experience with FreeRTOS, Arduino, or bare-metal firmware, as well as familiarity with IoT protocols like MQTT, HTTP, CoAP, LoRa, and Modbus RTU/TCP, will be beneficial. Proficiency in using Git, Jira, or other version control tools, along with experience in sensor interfacing and data acquisition, is required. Bonus skills that would be advantageous for this position include experience in OTA firmware updates, knowledge of AI/ML on edge devices, and familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS IoT, Google IoT Core, and Azure IoT Hub.
