Job Description
- You will work in the area of Software Engineering, focusing on the development, maintenance, and optimization of software solutions and applications. You will apply scientific methods to analyze and solve software engineering problems. Your responsibilities will include developing and applying software engineering practice and knowledge in research, design, development, and maintenance. Your role will require the exercise of original thought and judgment, as well as the ability to supervise the technical and administrative work of other software engineers. You will build skills and expertise within the software engineering discipline to meet the standard software engineer skills expectations for your role, as defined in Professional Communities. Collaboration and teamwork with other software engineers and stakeholders will be key aspects of your work. For Grade Specific positions, you are expected to be highly respected, experienced, and trusted. You should master all phases of the software development lifecycle and demonstrate innovation and industrialization. Your dedication and commitment to business objectives, responsibilities, and the team as a whole should be evident. You will operate with minimal supervision in highly complex environments, taking substantial responsibility for Capgemini's activities. In challenging and complex situations, you should exhibit calm and professional behavior. Decision-making should consider the bigger picture and demonstrate a clear understanding of commercial and negotiating principles, especially in less straightforward situations. Focusing on developing long-term partnerships with clients is important, along with leadership that balances business, technical, and people objectives. Your role may involve a significant role in recruitment and development of personnel.
