Job Description
- As a member of Hitachi Energy India Development Centre (IDC), you will be part of a team of over 500 R&D engineers, specialists, and experts dedicated to creating and maintaining digital solutions, new products, and cutting-edge technology. Situated in Chennai and Bangalore, IDC collaborates with Hitachi Energy's R&D and Research centers across 12 countries worldwide. Over the past two decades, IDC has made significant contributions, securing over 200 international papers and 150+ patents. Your primary mission will be to contribute to the advancement of the global energy system towards sustainability, flexibility, and security, all while considering social, environmental, and economic factors. Hitachi Energy's extensive presence in more than 140 countries highlights our commitment to this cause. In this role, your responsibilities will include staying focused on tasks, meeting deadlines, and taking ownership of project milestones. You will actively participate in suggesting improvements, thinking creatively, and embracing new ideas. Collaboration with colleagues across different time zones will be a key aspect of your work. Your main focus will be on enhancing our processes for continuous integration, deployment, automated testing, and release management. Emphasizing top-notch security standards, you will develop, maintain, and support Azure infrastructure and system software components. Your expertise in various Azure technologies will enable you to guide developers in creating effective solutions and ensure the overall architecture in Azure meets the required standards. Technical leadership in designing and implementing CI/CD processes, defining best practices for application deployment and infrastructure maintenance, and monitoring compute/storage costs and forecast will also be part of your role. Managing the deployment of .NET microservices based solutions and adhering to Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity will be crucial aspects of your daily tasks. To excel in this role, you should possess at least 3 years of experience in Azure DevOps, CI/CD, configuration management, and test automation. Proficiency in Azure components such as ARM, YAML, Azure PaaS, Azure Active Directory, Kubernetes, and Application Insight is required. Additionally, hands-on experience with Bash scripting, Azure development, database management, infrastructure automation, security practices, and various programming languages will be beneficial. Your ability to debug complex services, work with big data/analytics, and effectively communicate in English will be essential for success in this role at Hitachi Energy India Development Centre.,
