Job Description
- We are looking for a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer with over 5 years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure and deployment. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure robust observability using Datadog and manage infrastructure as code with Terraform. This role plays a critical part in enhancing platform reliability and performance within an AWS environment. The project duration is initially 6 months, with a possibility of extension based on performance or project needs. The work hours are in the IST time zone, requiring a minimum 2-hour overlap with the USA team, typically in the evening IST. Mandatory skills for this role include expertise in DevOps on AWS, Datadog, Terraform, and general observability experience. Requirements and Qualifications: - Minimum 5 years of experience in a DevOps role. - Strong hands-on experience with AWS services. - Mandatory Datadog experience for setup, configuration, and dashboards. - Proven expertise in Terraform for infrastructure automation. - Prior involvement in implementing or scaling observability solutions. - Experience in high-availability environments and production deployments. - Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. - Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, QA, and product teams. Roles and Responsibilities: - Lead the infrastructure efforts for the Marketplace 2.0 launch. - Design, implement, and manage observability solutions using Datadog. - Build and maintain scalable infrastructure on AWS using Terraform. - Set up alerting and monitoring dashboards to ensure system health and performance. - Work with engineering teams to integrate observability best practices. - Proactively identify and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues. - Contribute to DevOps strategy and improve CI/CD pipelines and processes. - Document and enforce infrastructure standards and automation workflows. This is a full-time role with benefits including health insurance, paid time off, and Provident Fund. The work schedule is a day shift from Monday to Friday.
