Job Description
- The Lead Business Analyst at HCL is responsible for overseeing data analysis, business analysis, and Agile methodology to drive business objectives and improvements. You will play a key role in understanding business needs, analyzing data, and implementing Agile strategies for effective project management. Your key responsibilities include conducting data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights for informed business decisions. You will collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into functional specifications. Leading and participating in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives is crucial. Additionally, creating detailed documentation like user stories, process flows, and technical specifications is part of your role. Working closely with developers and QA teams to ensure successful implementation and testing of solutions is essential. Furthermore, providing guidance and mentorship to junior business analysts and team members is expected. You will continuously improve processes and methodologies to enhance productivity and delivery efficiency. Proficiency in data analysis techniques and tools such as SQL, Python, or R is required. Strong business analysis skills including requirements gathering, process mapping, and solution design are necessary. Experience in agile environments using methodologies like Scrum or Kanban is preferred. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are crucial for this role. You should be able to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams to achieve project goals. An analytical mindset with a detail-oriented and problem-solving approach is important. Project management skills to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines are also required. Certifications in Agile methodologies such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMIACP) are a plus.
