Job Description
- As part of a global conglomerate, the Aditya Birla Group, you will have the opportunity to contribute to stakeholder value creation and growth in various sectors such as metals, pulp and fibre, chemicals, textiles, telecom, and more. With a strong foundation of responsible business practices spanning over seven decades, the Group is now looking to expand its Retail Footprint by venturing into the Jewellery Business in India. The gems and jewellery market in India holds significant potential, contributing around 7% to GDP and 14% to India's total merchandise exports. The Group aims to leverage its trust and expertise in luxury retail to establish a successful jewellery business in the country. In this role, you will be responsible for building the Store Infra, which includes Real Estate, fit-outs, and various technical assets like Electrical, HVAC, Fire & Safety, surveillance systems, elevators, and power backup. Your duties will involve evaluating properties, collaborating with developers and design teams for MEP design and development, creating execution packages, and supporting on-ground teams during the implementation phase. Additionally, you will be tasked with nurturing team members, scheduling project plans, identifying design and construction trends for efficiency improvement, and ensuring project completion according to guidelines. Furthermore, you will play a key role in value engineering, innovation in the MEP field, developing maintenance tools and MIS, working on automation and digital solutions, monitoring project progress and budget variances, documenting MEP works, overseeing vendor development and performance evaluation, managing recruitment, and implementing risk assessment and resolution strategies. Your educational background in Electrical Engineering coupled with at least 8 years of relevant experience will be critical for success in this role as you drive various initiatives to support the Group's retail expansion and sustainability efforts.,
