Job Description

    You are an experienced Engineering Manager with over 12 years of expertise in Defence and Avionics projects. Your main responsibility will be to lead and coordinate cross-functional teams working on FPGA, hardware design, embedded systems, and mechanical aspects. You will be in charge of project planning, execution, and ensuring timely delivery while maintaining compliance with industry standards and processes. Your role demands strong leadership skills, client coordination, and technical oversight to drive successful project outcomes. Your key responsibilities include developing detailed project plans, defining milestones, and ensuring on-time deliveries. You will track project progress, mitigate risks, and drive issue resolution, all while ensuring compliance with Defence and Avionics industry standards. Additionally, you will lead and coordinate hardware, FPGA, and embedded software teams, fostering a collaborative environment to enhance efficiency and innovation. As the primary point of contact for clients, management, and stakeholders, you will communicate project updates, risks, and solutions effectively. You will also be responsible for implementing and overseeing engineering processes, quality standards, and documentation, ensuring adherence to industry best practices for defence and avionics product development. Driving continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering teams will also be a part of your role. To excel in this position, you must possess strong experience in planning, execution, and project delivery for defence and avionics systems. Knowledge of hardware design, FPGA, embedded systems, and high-speed interfaces is crucial. Experience in DO-254, DO-178C, MIL-STD, and other defence industry standards is required, along with a solid understanding of risk management, issue tracking, and resource planning. Excellent client communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills are also essential, as well as familiarity with agile methodologies and project tracking tools such as JIRA and MS Project. Preferred skills for this role include a background in defence electronics, avionics LRUs, or mission-critical embedded systems, as well as exposure to PCB design, FPGA development tools, and embedded software workflows.,
