Handle escalations, complex cases and provide solution to ensure timely approvals
Co-ordinate with physicians, clinical staff, patient and insurance to resolve the pending authorization issues
Stay updated on payer policies guidelines and prior authorization requirements
Track the Turn around time for the request and prepare performance report for management
Supervise and guide a team of VOB and authorization associates to achieve individual and team goals
Review and allocate daily workloads ensuring timely submission of prior authorization request and VOB delivery
Monitor team performance, productivity and accuracy in handling authorization requests
Handle the urgent request on VOB and authorization emails
Conduct regular team huddles, training and performance reviews
POC for VOB and authorization process
Strong leadership and people management skills with experience in team handling
Ability to resolve escalations and manage high volume request with accuracy
Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skill
Ability to handle inbound and patient calls
Strong knowledge in MS offic Eligibility Verification
