Job Description
- As an Automation Test Manager at JPMorgan Chase & Co., you will be responsible for driving manual and automation testing initiatives across projects to ensure the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Working collaboratively with a dynamic team, you will play a key role in delivering innovative solutions in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you will lead testing efforts within the Testing Team, managing a team of 5-10 members to ensure accurate and timely testing results are delivered. Your responsibilities will include strategizing testing approaches, collaborating with stakeholders to enhance processes, and driving continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: - Strategize and lead manual & automation testing across projects, overseeing a team of 5-10 members. - Prepare governance data, publish metrics, and generate reports to track testing progress. - Conduct end-to-end testing, including UAT, regression, and functional testing phases. - Document UAT test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts to ensure comprehensive testing coverage. - Develop automation script suite utilizing tools such as Selenium, Java, and Cucumber. - Ensure proficiency in API automation using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or RestApi. - Provide training on best practices and standardized testing approaches to team members. - Create competency assessment tests for testers to enhance skills and capabilities. - Manage defects effectively, ensuring quality and timely bug resolution in collaboration with stakeholders. Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills: - Demonstrated mentoring skills and problem-solving aptitude. - Effective documentation and troubleshooting of errors. - Understanding of TDD, BDD, and Shift Left concepts in testing. - Communication and delivery of effective automated test solutions. - Proficiency in utilizing MS Office products for analysis and presentation purposes. - Bachelor's or Graduate Degree in a relevant field. - Hands-on experience in Selenium, Java, and Cucumber for test automation. Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills: - Proven experience leading automation testing teams. - Exposure to tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or RestApi for API testing. - Expertise in managing projects with a strong understanding of QA methodology. - Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing practices. - Experience in diverse testing efforts, techniques, and tools. - Basic knowledge of Web/HTML technologies. - Holding a Testing Certification such as ISTQB or CSTE would be advantageous.,
