Job Description
- As a Robotics Engineer/Developer at INNOFarms.AI, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the cutting-edge field of sustainable vertical farming powered by AI, robotics, and precision automation. Integrating sensors like LiDAR, IMU, cameras, actuators, and microcontrollers into robotic systems will be part of your role, along with conducting testing, debugging, and optimizing systems in real-world agri-environments. Collaboration with software, electrical, and AI teams for full-stack system integration is vital to ensure the success of the projects. It will be important to stay updated with emerging technologies in robotics, automation, and additive manufacturing while documenting design iterations, test procedures, and deployment workflows. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. A strong command of ROS and experience in robotic software development is required, along with proficiency in CAD/CAM tools, mechanical simulation, and hands-on experience with 3D printing and prototyping tools. Programming skills in Python, C++, or MATLAB are essential, as well as familiarity with embedded systems, sensors, and actuators. A solid foundation in robot kinematics, dynamics, and control theory is necessary, while experience with Gazebo, RViz, MoveIt, SLAM, or computer vision is a bonus.
