Shift: The shift timing is (GMT+05:30) Asia/Kolkata (IST). Opportunity Type: This is a hybrid opportunity based in Bengaluru. Placement Type: This is a full-time permanent position with Wayfair as the client. What do you need for this opportunity Must have skills required: You should have expertise in SOLID, TDD, SQL, Aerospike, Redis, Datadog, Elasticsearch, Java, Springboot, CI/CD, Jenkins, BuildKite, Docker, and Kubernetes. What You'll Do: - Collaborate with business stakeholders to provide them with the necessary data and resources for informed decision-making. - Act as a technical leader within your team and across other teams. - Make impactful architectural decisions and lead hands-on development from inception to delivery while following best design and coding practices. - Focus on ensuring the team's readiness for production through testing, monitoring, deployment, and troubleshooting. - Identify technical risks and propose solutions to achieve project goals. - Create proposals and action plans to gain organizational support. - Contribute to the team's strategy and roadmap. - Have a continuous learning mindset and strive to push the boundaries of what is achievable. We Are a Match Because You Have: - 6-9 years of experience in backend software engineering, including architecting and implementing robust, distributed web applications. - A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field. - A proven track record of technical leadership and hands-on development following software development best practices. - Experience in building web services using Java and Springboot. - Familiarity with Continuous Integration (CI/CD) practices and tools. - Experience in architecting solutions using distributed infrastructure like Docker and Kubernetes. - Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, Aerospike, Redis, and monitoring/logging technologies.
