We are currently looking for a Principal Consultant- Lead QA Automation Engineer to join our team! Responsibilities: - Collaborate with internal teams such as developers and product managers to determine system requirements. - Engage with the software design team to define verification protocols. - Create and maintain automated scripts for post-production validation. - Provide mentorship to team members in automated test development. - Identify weaknesses in software applications and focus areas for improvement. - Develop ideas for automated software test procedures. - Review software bug reports and pinpoint problematic areas. - Write automation scripts and integrate software applications. - Design and implement software databases. - Troubleshoot automation software and finalize system procedures. - Conduct post-release/post-implementation testing. - Identify quality issues and generate test reports. - Work with the design team to resolve application faults. - Coordinate manual and automated regression testing, managing a build pipeline on our Continuous Integration system. Qualifications we seek in you: Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field. - Prior experience as a QA automation engineer, particularly in ETL automation (non-negotiable). - Proficient in programming, including automation systems and databases. - Knowledge of programming script languages like Python, PySpark, Java, and VBScript. - Strong analytical skills. - Understanding of application functions, bug fixing, and testing procedures. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Keen attention to detail. - Good project management abilities. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with Databricks is desirable but not mandatory. Join us as a Principal Consultant based in India-Hyderabad on a full-time schedule.
