About Corporate and Investment Banking & Investment Research (CIB & IR)
As a global leader in knowledge processes, research, and analytics, youll be working with a team that specializes in global market research, working with the top-rated investment research organizations, bulge bracket investment banks, and leading asset managers. We cater to 8 of the top 10 global banks, working alongside their product and sector teams, supporting them on deal origination, execution, valuation, and transaction advisory-related projects.
What you will be doing at Evalueserve
We are seeking a detail-oriented and resourceful Venture Capital Analyst to support our clients investment team with deal-sourcing, research, due diligence, and portfolio management activities. The analyst will work closely with onshore investment professionals, providing high-quality insights, analysis, and execution support to strengthen decision-making across the investment lifecycle.
1. Deal Sourcing & Market Research
- Conduct thematic research on emerging sectors, technologies, and startup ecosystems.
- Track market trends, competitor landscapes, and disruptive innovations.
- Build and maintain databases of potential startups, accelerators, and deal flow sources.
2. Due Diligence Support
- Collect and analyze company financials, operating metrics, and performance benchmarks.
- Support commercial, financial, and operational due diligence.
- Prepare diligence memos, company profiles, and competitive benchmarking analysis.
3. Investment Analysis
- Build and maintain financial models for early-stage companies (revenue projections, unit economics, cash burn, runway analysis).
- Support valuation analysis using comparable company analysis, precedent transactions, and industry multiples.
- Assist in the preparation of Investment Committee materials and pitch decks.
4. Portfolio Monitoring
- Track portfolio company KPIs, fundraising milestones, and sector developments.
- Prepare quarterly portfolio monitoring reports and dashboards.
- Support scenario modeling and portfolio-level performance analytics.
5. Investor Relations & Internal Support
- Assist with Limited Partner (LP) reporting and fundraising materials.
- Maintain data rooms, internal knowledge repositories, and CRM systems.
- Support ad-hoc requests from investment teams.
What were looking for
- 25 years of experience in private equity, venture capital, consulting, or startup ecosystem
- Strong financial modeling and valuation skills
- Excellent research and analytical skills; ability to distill large data into insights
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and databases such as Factset, CapIQ, Bloomberg, Pitchbook
- Post-Graduate preferably MBA (specialization finance & econometrics)/CFA/CA
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (English)
- Ability to work across time zones and deliver under tight deadlines
