Job Description
- Develop and manage large-scale machine learning models, with an emphasis on Large Language Models (LLMs), to address complex challenges and enrich user interactions specifically within Uber for Business platforms.
- Pioneer the application of generative AI and LLMs for innovative use cases, strictly aligning with Uber for Business strategic and technological objectives.
- Implement anomaly detection techniques to monitor and diagnose abnormalities in business metrics within U4B, ensuring reliability and performance integrity.
- Enhance system robustness and efficiency by continuously optimizing and scaling ML models within the business domain.
- Drive technological advances by integrating state-of-the-art ML technologies in the development process, contributing significantly to the technological leadership of Uber for Business.
- Mentor junior engineering staff in ML technologies, machine learning best practices, and anomaly detection, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence in the business division.
- Stay current with the latest developments in AI and machine learning, particularly focusing on applications beneficial to Uber for Business.
- Strong coding skills in one or more programming languages (Python, Golang, and Java)
- Proven experience in software engineering, application development, with a significant background applying machine learning at scale.
- Experience with ML technology, such as Tensorflow/Pytorch, Caffe, Scikit-Learn, Spark MLLib, OpenAI, LangChain, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of software engineering experience.
- SQL or similar query language
- Ability to collaborate effectively across multifunctional teams within Uber for Business and lead complex projects.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
