Technical Lead
Experience: 8-12 Years Exp
Salary : Competitive
Preferred Notice Period: less than or equal to 60 days
Shift: 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM IST

Role Overview Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance web applications that incorporate geospatial data, ensuring responsiveness and usability.
- Implement robust server-side logic and manage databases using Java, Node.js, or Python, ensuring seamless data flow and GIS service integration.
- Utilize frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js to create user-friendly interfaces, focusing on effective geospatial data visualization and interaction.
- Work closely with GIS analysts, UX/UI designers, and project managers to gather requirements and translate them into clear, actionable technical specifications.
- Conduct thorough code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers to uphold high standards in code quality and development practices.
- Implement automated testing processes, oversee successful application deployment, and troubleshoot issues in both development and production environments.
- Identify and implement enhancements in development practices, tools, and processes to optimize performance and ensure quality GIS solutions.

- 8-12 Years
Required skills:
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of enterprise-level Java development and the Spring ecosystem for building scalable applications.
- Skilled in HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript, with experience in at least one frontend framework (e.g., Angular, React) for responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
- Expertise in designing and implementing REST-based services for seamless data exchange.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases and database design principles, including spatial databases if required by GIS applications.
- Proficiency in Linux environments, with experience in deploying applications on Linux servers.
- Well-versed in software design patterns, web standards, and best practices for building high-quality applications.
- Ensuring security of applications.
Soft Skills:
- Ability to mentor junior team members and support their growth, working closely with the Project Manager or Architect.
- Highly skilled in troubleshooting, with a meticulous approach to detail in all tasks.
- Proficient in both written and spoken English, capable of effectively communicating technical information and requirements.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of enterprise GIS software (e.g., ESRI) or open-source GIS tools (e.g., QGIS, GeoServer) and their integration into web applications.
- Understanding of multiple web and backend frameworks, with decision-making abilities to select the best framework for specific projects.
- Understanding of enterprise GIS systems and practices, ensuring robust geospatial application design.
