Job Summary:
We are seeking a Results-driven Solution Architect to lead the architecture, design, and implementation of our Azure-based integration platform. The ideal candidate will bring 12+ years of experience in solution architecture and delivery, with significant exposure to cloud technologies (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS) and integration in complex enterprise environments, preferably in the Higher Education sector.
This role demands expertise in Azure Integration Services, strong business analysis capabilities, and the ability to engage stakeholders and guide cross-functional teams in Agile delivery environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and architect scalable integration solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform
- Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, analyze, and prioritize business and technical requirements
- Lead end-to-end solution design including data flows, API integrations, cloud services, and middleware
- Align architecture with enterprise strategy and industry best practices
- Conduct ERP product analysis, comparison, and recommendation
- Manage and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle
- Develop user stories, solution documents, and traceability matrices to support Agile teams
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and support to development and delivery teams
- Ensure compliance with security, performance, and scalability requirements
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Solution Architecture & Design especially on Azure Integration Services
- MS Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, SQL Server
- Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid, API Management
- Strong experience with Cloud platforms Microsoft Azure (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS)
- Expertise in requirements gathering, documentation, and traceability
- Deep knowledge of Agile methodology and tools (JIRA, Confluence)
- Stakeholder Engagement, Cross-functional collaboration, and communication
- Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and critical thinking skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Azure Solution Architect certification (AZ-305) preferred
- Experience in Higher Education digital transformation programs
- Familiarity with integration patterns, data governance, and enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF/Zachman)
