As an AWS Data Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Technical requirements gathering and development of functional specifications
Communicating with technical contacts regarding incoming and outgoing data interfaces
Implementing the data pipelines
Develop and implement best practices for AWS applications: Data Integration, Analytics & Reporting
Create ETL jobs to ingest and move data within the AWS environment using Glue
Creating necessary cloud infrastructure elements
Work with the Agile multicultural teams in Asia, the EU, Canada, and the USA.
Profile Requirements
For this position of AWS Data Engineer, we are looking for someone with:
(Required) 5 years of experience in an AWS based project.
(Required) Good English communication (spoken/written) and soft skills.
(Required) Experience with AWS Data Engineering stack, including tools such as S3 (for Data Lake), RDS, Athena, Glue, Scala, Lambda, Step Functions, and MWAA.
(Required) Experience in CI/CD, both in building and implementing, with tools such as Terraform and Git Actions.
(Required) Advanced skills in Python and PySpark for data engineering tasks.
(Optional) Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and networking concepts is a plus.
(Optional) Experience working with Big Data or Data Quality tools and methodologies is a plus.
