Salary: INR 25-40 Lacs per annum
Preferred Notice Period: 30 Days
Shift: 10:0 AM to 6:00 PM IST
Opportunity Type: Hybrid (Pune)

Role Overview Description
Job Overview: We are looking for a seasoned Solutions Architect with strong expertise in Snowflake, DBT (Data Build Tool), and Apache Airflow to define and lead our data architecture strategy. You will be responsible for designing scalable, secure, and efficient data pipelines and optimizing our cloud-based data platform. The ideal candidate has a strong background in the modern data stack and a proven ability to deliver enterprise-grade data solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and architect scalable, secure, and high-performing data solutions using Snowflake, DBT, and Airflow.
- Translate business requirements into technical data models and solutions in collaboration with stakeholders, data engineers, and analysts.
- Define and enforce best practices for data modeling, ELT pipeline development, and metadata management.
- Provide architectural guidance and mentorship to data engineering teams.
- Lead technical reviews, architecture governance, and data quality assessments.
- Ensure adherence to data privacy, security, and compliance regulations.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize the performance of Snowflake workloads, Airflow DAGs, and DBT models.
- Evaluate and recommend new tools, frameworks, and architecture strategies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in data engineering and architecture roles.
- Proven hands-on experience with:
- Snowflake: Data warehouse architecture, query optimization, role-based access control
- DBT: Model creation, testing, documentation, and version control
- Apache Airflow: DAG development, orchestration, monitoring, scheduling
- Strong command of SQL, data modelling (Star/Snowflake schemas), and ETL/ELT processes
- Proficiency in Python and scripting for automation and data pipeline development
- Experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices for data deployments
- Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Snowflake or dbt certification(s) preferred.
- Experience integrating with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Familiarity with data catalog and lineage tools like Alation, Collibra, or Atlan.
- Prior experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
