Job Description
- Role: Automation Engineer
- Primary Skillset: Ansible, Ansible Tower, Ansible AWX, Ansible Automation platform
- Secondary Skillset: Terraform, CICD tools, AWS/Azure/GCP
- Experience: 6-10 years
- Location: Noida and Chennai
- Identifying, Implement/Development of automation of Infrastructure services autonomously.
- Using CI/CD systems and tools for Dev and testing.
- Create and manage the SOPs for the automation developed to ensure integrity and sustainability of the services.
- Ensuring compliance and security of the solutions developed and testing is handled well for the Production and lower environments.
- Ability to gather requirements from the clients and build solutions.
- Good experience in building HLD, LLD and diagrams for managed services.
Required Skills:
- Working experience on Ansible, Terraform, etc. in a large infrastructure environment with both cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
- Has working knowledge on multiple infrastructure environments, Multi Cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP), VMWare, Storage, DBs (Oracle, SQL, etc. )
- Understanding of DevOps Tools and Agile Development.
- Ability to help in discovery of automation opportunities working with Infrastructure Team.
- Has good exposure of automation and integration with external tools and applications using different communication protocols (REST, SOAP, etc. )
- Proficient in Linux Shell and scripting to manage services using CLI.
- High proficiency in Perl/Python/PowerShell scripting and having ability to migrate scripts to Ansible.
- Providing solutions leveraging GenAI/Hyperscaler platforms wherever applicable.
- Ability to provide solutions for large infrastructure environment handling using DevOps methodology.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Good problem solving and logical mindset to provide customer with efficient solutions.
Preferred Skills:
- Understanding of Agile and ITIL processes and frameworks.
- Working knowledge of Monitoring tools like Zabbix, Nagios, etc. to enable Event Driven Architecture.
Total Experience Expected: 08-10 years
