Experience: Java 6+ years (with minimum 2+ years in Drools and AWS)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Java Developer with strong hands-on experience in Drools 8.0, AWS cloud services, Spring Framework, and MongoDB. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of rule-based engines and microservices architecture, along with experience in building scalable, cloud-native applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable Java-based microservices using Spring Boot.
- Implement and maintain business rules using Drools 8.0.
- Integrate Drools with Spring and other components for seamless decision automation.
- Develop and manage data operations using MongoDB.
- Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications on AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch, etc.).
- Write clean, maintainable code and follow best practices for testing, CI/CD, and version control.
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and QA teams for end-to-end solution delivery.
- Troubleshoot production issues and optimize system performance.
Required Skills:
- Java 8+ and object-oriented programming expertise.
- Strong experience with Drools 8.0 authoring, deploying, and managing rules.
- Proficiency in Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and RESTful APIs.
- Hands-on experience with MongoDB including schema design and performance tuning.
- Solid knowledge of AWS services (EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS, IAM, etc.).
- Experience in using Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.).
- Understanding of microservices, containerization (Docker), and distributed systems.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with terraform and infrastructure as code (Terraform/CloudFormation).
- Knowledge of unit and integration testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/masters degree in computer science or related field.
- Certification in AWS (e.g., AWS Developer or Solutions Architect) is a plus.
