Job Description
Role: SAP Manufacturing (SAP PP and PPDS)
Location: Pune / Nagpur, MH - Onsite
Job type: Full time job
Working hours: 6:30 pm to 3:30 am IST (US EST TIME ZONE)
Consultants who are able to join within 30 days of receiving confirmation will be given preference.
This is permanent employment with Quantum, with an opportunity to be onsite on H1 visa in future.
Job Description:
- Years of experience 7 to 8 years in SAP manufacturing (PP & PPDS)
- 1 or 2 full cycle implementation/ migration of SAP S/4 HANA
- Ability to gather business requirements and translate them to SAP S/4 HANA Solutions
- Configure and customize the SAP PPDS module to meet specific client needs, including master data (BOMs, routings), demand planning, resource planning, and capacity planning.
- Well versed with SAP integration scenarios with other modules and third party systems and their configuration and integration features
- End to End Test scenario development and testing activities for the respective module
- A good communicator and experience in working directly with end users and third-party teams
- Should be ready to work in EST time zone.
- Pharma industry knowledge is an advantage
Key Technologies skills
- Embedded PPDS:
The focus on S/4HANA's built-in PPDS capabilities for real-time, integrated planning.
- Finite Capacity Scheduling:
The ability to create realistic and achievable production schedules based on available resources.
- Optimization:
Using PPDS to optimize resource utilization, minimize lead times, and improve overall production efficiency.
- Planning Tools:
Familiarity with tools like the detailed scheduling planning board and product planning table.
