Job Description
Installation, configuration and troubleshooting of Windows Servers
Handle Windows server issues such as server crashes, performance , advanced connectivity issues, and complex server problems.
Liaise with third party vendors to resolve server hardware / software and service related issues.
Diagnose and resolve L2 / L3 issues with VMware ESXi hosts and vSphere environments.
Perform regular maintenance tasks like OS and firmware updates, patch management
Good working knowledge in upgrading Windows server version 2012R2 to 2016 / 2019
Ensure the stability and reliability of VMware environments through regular monitoring and maintenance.
Manage and resolve incidents within SLA timelines, ensuring proper communication with stakeholders.
Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and document findings.
Installation, configuration and troubleshooting of ESXi Host, vcenter servers ,
Perform regular maintenance tasks like ESXi hosts firmware upgrade and vcenter Patch Management
Upgrade of ESXi host from version 6.x to 7.x / 8.x
Deploy and manage virtual machines, including resource allocation and performance optimization.
Configure and maintain network settings for VMs, including virtual switches and VLANs.
Configure and troubleshoot group policies, access permissions, and security settings.
Collaborate with other IT Teams on infrastructure projects ,upgrades and migrations
Skills Required:
In-depth knowledge of Windows Server and VMware vSphere administration
Good knowledge in Azure , AWS and O365
Good knowledge in Active Directory / GPO / DFS / File Servers / DNS / DHCP
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to handle high-pressure situations and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
