Job Description
- Join our team at JPMorgan Chase & Co., a leading global financial services firm, in the role of Automation Test Manager. You will be responsible for driving both manual and automation testing efforts across projects to ensure the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Working collaboratively with a dynamic team, you will play a key role in delivering innovative solutions in a fast-paced environment. As an Automation Test Manager within the Testing Team, your primary focus will be on strategizing and leading testing activities across various projects. You will oversee a team of 5-10 members, ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of testing results. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with stakeholders to improve testing processes and promote continuous enhancement. Responsibilities: - Strategize and lead manual & automation testing initiatives across projects, managing a team of 5-10 members. - Prepare governance data, publish metrics, and generate reports to track testing progress. - Conduct end-to-end testing, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression testing, and functional testing. - Document UAT test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts for comprehensive testing coverage. - Develop an automation script suite using tools like Selenium, Java, and Cucumber. - Ensure proficiency in API automation using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or RestApi. - Provide training on best practices and standardized testing approaches to team members. - Create competency assessment tests for testers to enhance skills and capabilities. - Manage defects effectively, ensuring quality and timely resolution, while collaborating with stakeholders to drive efficiencies. Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills: - Demonstrate mentoring skills and problem-solving aptitude. - Efficiently document and troubleshoot errors as they arise. - Understanding of Test-Driven Development (TDD), Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), and Shift Left testing concepts. - Ability to communicate effectively and deliver automated test solutions that meet project requirements. - Proficiency in utilizing MS Office products for data analysis and presentation purposes. - Hold a Bachelor's or Graduate Degree in a relevant field. - Hands-on experience in utilizing Selenium, Java, and Cucumber for test automation. Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills: - Experience in leading automation testing teams with a proven track record of success. - Exposure to tools like Postman, SoapUI, or RestApi for API automation. - Project management expertise with a strong understanding of Quality Assurance (QA) methodologies. - Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing practices. - Diverse experience in various testing efforts, techniques, and tools. - Basic knowledge of Web technologies and HTML. - Possess a Testing Certification such as ISTQB or CSTE to demonstrate proficiency in testing practices.,
