Job Description
- As a skilled and experienced Web Developer specializing in WordPress and Shopify, you will be responsible for developing responsive, SEO-friendly, and high-performance websites using modern technologies and tools. Your primary focus will be on frontend development and eCommerce website creation. Your key responsibilities will include developing, maintaining, and optimizing custom WordPress websites using page builders such as Elementor, WPBakery, Divi, Beaver Builder, and Visual Composer. You will also be converting Figma designs and PSD files into fully functional, responsive WordPress and Shopify themes, and implementing WooCommerce for eCommerce stores while configuring product pages, carts, and checkout flows. It will be essential for you to ensure that all websites are SEO-optimized, mobile-responsive, and meet performance standards, including Core Web Vitals. Regular website maintenance, updates, and security audits will also be part of your duties. You will collaborate closely with designers and content creators to implement pixel-perfect websites and troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues, bugs, or plugin conflicts that may arise. To succeed in this role, you should have at least 2 years of proven experience as a WordPress Developer and Shopify Developer, along with strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, and responsive design techniques. A deep understanding of WordPress core, custom theme development, and plugin customization is required, as well as hands-on experience with the Shopify Liquid templating language. Proficiency in Figma, basic Adobe Photoshop editing, and converting designs to code will be beneficial. Additionally, you should have an understanding of technical SEO, page speed optimization, and structured data. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential, as well as knowledge of web security best practices, backups, and maintenance routines. This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits including health insurance, paid sick time, and the opportunity to work from home. The work schedule will be a fixed day shift from Monday to Friday in the morning. The job requires in-person work in Gurgaon City, Haryana, and candidates must have a Bachelor's degree.
