Job Description
- As a Quality Assurance and Testing professional, your primary responsibility will involve actively testing new features and updates to identify, document, and track software bugs and defects. You will play a crucial role in bug reporting by creating clear, concise, and detailed bug reports for the development team, including steps to reproduce the issue. Additionally, you will be responsible for evaluating the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) to ensure our products are intuitive, efficient, and user-friendly. Collaboration with Developers is key in this role, as you will work closely with software engineers to communicate issues, verify fixes, and provide feedback throughout the development cycle. You will also assist in the design and implementation of automated tests and CI/CD pipelines to ensure a continuous and smooth delivery process. Monitoring system performance and contributing to maintain the stability and reliability of our platform will be another critical aspect of your role. Documentation is an essential part of this position, as you will be required to maintain clear documentation of testing procedures, bug reports, and quality standards. To excel in this role, you must have a minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in a software engineering, quality assurance, or related technical role. An exceptional academic record, familiarity with different types of software testing, experience with bug-tracking tools, and basic to intermediate scripting skills in a language such as Python or Bash are highly desirable. Understanding of the software development lifecycle, Agile methodologies, exceptional attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality products are also necessary. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, along with a proactive and self-starter attitude, will be beneficial for success in this role. Preferred qualifications include experience with automated testing frameworks, knowledge of containerization technologies, experience with cloud platforms, and previous experience in a DevOps or software quality assurance role.
