Job Description
Responsibilities
- Provides technical leadership for the testing team.
- Preparing test plannings and executing them
- Focuses upon long-term solutions and improvements to product testing processes, automation, frameworks/tools.
- Work closely with Business teams and product management to ensure right test coverage.
- Maintain defect triage process and continuous defect reviews.
- Reviewing and analyzing test documentations and codes.
- Responsible for closure of testing activities, including sign-off and documentation.
- Experience in preparing reports on test results, defects, test coverage, and overall quality metrics.
- Creating tracking metrics and preparing parameters to measure the success of a projects
- Has ability to drive CI/CD Test Automation strategy.
- Responsible for managing, coaching, and mentoring team members.
Requirements and skills
- Years of Experience: 5-8 years in Software Quality and Testing for both Manual and Automation Process.3+years in leadership will be an added advantage.
- Solid understanding of software development processes, including requirement gathering, analysis/design, development tools/technologies, release management/version control, contemporary testing methodologies and deployment management.
- Overall experience should have exposure with both Functional and Non Functional testing procedures.
- Working knowledge on SaaS and Cloud will be an added advantage.
- Experience in defect management, QA process, and methodology.
- Experience working in fast paced Agile environments with working knowledge of Scrum principles and methodologies.
- Ability to document and troubleshoot errors.
- Working knowledge of test management software (e.g. ALM, JIRA, Azure) and SQL.
- Excellent communication skills, written & speaking.
- Ability to work on a diverse team or with a diverse range of people.
- Certifications such as ISTQB or Scrum are desirable.
