Job Description
- Maintain and update financial records, ledgers, and journals.
- Prepare and reconcile monthly bank statements.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and other statutory returns.
- Process payroll and maintain employee payment records.
- Monitor cash flow, budgets, and expense reports.
- Assist in preparing financial statements, MIS reports, and annual audits.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Coordinate with auditors, vendors, and tax consultants.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Masters preferred).
- Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (Tally ERP, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliances.
- Advanced skills in MS Excel and other MS Office applications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
