Job Description
Game DeveloperGame Developer
2D Game Artist Experience: 1 -6 yrs Requirements: Proven working experience in full lifecycle game development
Hands on experience primarily with C # or other programming languages (Java, C, etc)
Have working knowledge of native platforms primarily Android and iOS
High level knowledge of APIs and libraries.Expert in one or more programming specialties (artificial intelligence, 3D Rendering, 3D animation, physics, multiplayer /networking, or audio)
Up -to -date with the latest gaming trends, techniques, best practices and technologies
Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
Job Responsibilities: Translate requirements into complicated but clean and efficient code
Construct the base or the engine on which the game will run
Produce prototypes of gameplay ideas and features
Develop schedules and determine milestones
Generate game scripts and storyboards
Animate characters and objects
Contribute to the design and audio features of the game
Create unit tests and validation procedures to assure quality
Detect identification and resolution and document technical specifications
Polish the game, maintain code, fix bugs and iron out occurring problems
Experience: 3 -5 yrs Resposibilities: Work with game designers and curriculum specialists to create wireframes and develop game concepts for future projects
Design props and environments that are compliant to the brands style guide
Create highly functional interface layouts and designs
Create assets from scratch in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
Work within a development team to work towards two weeks sprint goals.
Desired Skills and Education:: 3 -5 years of experience in a game development
Bachelor of Arts in Illustration, Animation, or related field.
Expert knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
Experience working on game projects .
Advanced knowledge of color theory, UX /UI, concept sketching, and storyboarding
Desire to continually sharpen artistic abilities through company training, independent learning, and /or learning from other team members
Exceptional communication skills
Strong traditional drawing and rendering abilities
Excellent grasp over pen tablet tools
Excellent time -management skills and ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with optimizing art for mobile games is a PLUS
Understanding of Unity and Maya is a PLUS
Understanding of UV textures is a PLUS
