Job Description
- Recommend credit limits based on financial risk analysis and past payment behavior.
- Coordinate with the finance and sales teams to implement effective credit policies.
- Develop and execute collection strategies to improve Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).
- Work with stakeholders to ensure smooth cash flow and reduce overdue accounts
- Periodic preparation of financial and statistical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends
- Plan, organize, develop, implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies and procedures in accounting
- Communicate with stakeholders, follow up on receivables and reduce delinquency
- Preparation of MIS Reports for clients for reconciliation.
- Adherence to book closure timelines and ensuring all reconciliation is closed by the 01st of Every month.
- Identify receipts, payment advices and facilitate invoice settlement for Corporate clients
- Responsible for the day-to-day accounting and finance functions
- Act as the point of contact for customer escalations related to payments.
- Work with internal teams (Sales, Operations, Finance) to resolve billing disputes.
- Ensure customer accounts are reconciled and disputes are addressed proactively
- B.com/M.com/CA Inter/MBA Finance having minimum 4-5 years of experience in Account receivable management and ERP accounting, in Hospitality and Retail sector
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, AR best practices, and taxation (GST/TDS)
- Relevant Experience of working in Hospitality industry minimum 2 years
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience of working in SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics 365, Business central, Quick books, Zoho books or similar ERP
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Ready to take up challenges and work in a fast paced environment
- Pro-active, dynamic, energetic and a go-getter attitude
- Expertise in handling Ms-Office would be an advantage. Ms-excel skills are non-negotiable.
- Attention to detail and good analytical skills
