Job Description
Position Title: Web Developer
Position Overview:
As a Web Developer, you will design, develop, and test web-based applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to create innovative solutions for various site components. You will be responsible for documenting technical specifications, optimizing website content, and ensuring that the applications meet both functional and security requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a technical resource for S4 implementation and actively participate in team discussions.
- Design and develop responsive web applications using SAP ABAP for HANA, ensuring performance optimization and security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and gather requirements.
- Create detailed technical designs and specifications for web applications.
- Conduct unit testing, debugging, and ensure high-quality code delivery.
- Maintain and update website content, ensuring all content is accurate and up-to-date.
- Stay current with new web technologies and incorporate them into application development.
- Support the migration of applications from ECC to S4 HANA.
Must-Have Skills:
- Expertise in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
- Strong knowledge in OData, CDS Views, and AMDP.
- Experience with SAP Fiori and Fiori content activation.
- Solid understanding of web development best practices and responsive design.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
- Understanding of database concepts and proficiency in SQL.
- Ability to work independently, becoming a subject matter expert (SME) in the domain.
Good-to-Have Skills:
- Experience in SAP Cloud Application Programming (CAP).
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
- Hands-on experience in web development and application testing.
Educational Qualification:
- 15 years of full-time education is mandatory.
