We are looking for a technically skilled and business-aware members to join our dynamic team in the Payments domain. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Java development, strong understanding of enterprise application architectures, and solid expertise in payment messaging standards such as ISO8583 and ISO20022. This role demands a well-rounded individual with deep technical knowledge, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in agile and fast-paced environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable Java applications.
- Develop and optimize Oracle SQL queries and stored procedures.
- Work with Unix-based systems for application deployment and operations.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure CI/CD best practices.
- Integrate and manage security components such as SSL/TLS certificates, HSM, and Security Keys.
- Configure and troubleshoot network components including F5 load balancers.
- Understand and model end-to-end application architectures and flows.
- Analyse and implement payment standards and flows including ISO8583, ISO20022, authorization, switching, and settlements.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and execution.
- Apply ITSM practices to handle incidents, problems, and changes efficiently.
- Follow SDLC best practices for software development and deployment.
Required Technical Skills:
- Strong experience with Java development and frameworks.
- Proficient in Oracle SQL DB and performance tuning.
- Solid knowledge of Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience working with Networks, including F5 Load Balancers, HSMs, and network configurations.
- In-depth understanding of SSL/TLS Certificates and Security Keys.
- Knowledge of application architecture principles and system integration.
Business & Functional Expertise:
- In-depth experience with ISO8583 and ISO20022 payment messaging standards.
- Strong understanding of payment flows, including authorization, switching, and settlement processes.
Soft Skills:
- Strong logical and analytical thinking.
- Excellent technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
- Proactive and assertive attitude with a focus on results.
Process Knowledge:
- Familiar with ITSM practices (Incident, Change, and Problem Management).
- Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban).
- Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) principles.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Certifications in Java, DevOps, or Agile methodologies are a plus.
- Previous experience in the Payments domain is highly desirable.
