Job Title: Senior Technical Instructional Designer

Summary: We are looking for an experienced Technical - Instructional Designerto lead the design and development of innovative learning solutions for product, engineering, and customer-facing teams in a fast-paced product organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in creating scalable, technical learning experiences that support product adoption, feature enablement, and continuous upskilling in a technology-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities: Design and develop engaging, learner-centric technical content for internal teams (engineering, product management, customer success) and external audiences (partners, end-users). Translate complex product features and engineering processes into clear, accessible learning modules. Create scalable learning paths across modalities: e-learning, microlearning, virtual instructor-led training (vILT), simulations, and hands-on labs. Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and customer enablement teams to develop accurate, timely, and impactful training content. Develop certification programs, product release training, and just-in-time learning resources aligned to the product roadmap. Partner with L&D, product, and technical leadership to assess learning needs, identify skill gaps, and measure learning effectiveness. Apply modern instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM, Agile Learning) to develop high-quality, fast-turnaround training materials. Utilize authoring tools, LMS platforms, and multimedia solutions to deliver interactive, measurable learning experiences.

Required Skills: 8-10 years of experience in instructional design, with significant exposure to product and technical learning in product-driven companies. Proven ability to simplify complex product and technical concepts for diverse audiences. Expertise in e-learning development tools (Articulate Storyline, Rise, Captivate, Camtasia, etc.). Hands-on experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital learning platforms. Strong project management, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Familiarity with software development cycles, agile environments, and product release management. Excellent written, visual, and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors or Masters degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Experience working in SaaS, cloud, or technology product organizations. Knowledge of tools like GitHub, JIRA, Confluence, and familiarity with REST APIs, cloud concepts, or software architecture (optional but preferred). Certifications in instructional design, learning technologies, or product enablement (CPTD, APTD, ATD certifications are a plus)
