Job Description: Solution Architecture(BA)
Role Profile: Architecture Governance team are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to join their team in Mumbai, India.
The ideal candidate:
Will be focused on resiliency and how architectural design enables and contributes to the overall architecture capabilities Institutional Securities Technology (IST)provides to the business in areas of new technologies such as Gen AI & Cloud while maintaining a focus on legacy infrastructure for modernization.
The candidate:
This role presents a unique opportunity to gain an in-depth understanding of the front-to-back capabilities and top-to-bottom topology of the systems in IST and influence how teams consider resiliency in the architectural designs for their modernization projects.
Essential to the candidates success in this role will be a collaborative approach and the ability to develop productive partnerships with a variety of stakeholders and teams across functions and locations to maintain engagement and drive agreement.
In these conversations, the candidate will never lose sight of the fact that technology is an enabler to achieve business goals and the need to align technological choices to serve those goals.
Similarly, the candidate will also keep up with how regulators evolve their views on Gen Al and new Tech and provide a iterative approach to map legacy apps and systems to be modernized and leverage new technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze business capabilities and associated systems with respect to their architectural design, manage technical debt, total cost of ownership and develop roadmaps to the future.
- Contribute to identification and development of architectural patterns and the formulation of resiliency guidelines.
- Help influence and drive the adoption of architecture best practices, guidelines, and architectural patterns at scale.
- Support ISG technology teams to analyze and improve the posture of the architecture capabilities through their architectural choices.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 10+ years as an architect in a large organization, ideally within Financial Services.
- 5+ years background in Engineering capacity either Infrastructure/AppDev with automation expertise
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Gen AI and Cloud technologies: python/nodejs + Gen AI tooling with public cloud experiences. Expectations of LLM (commercial and open source) and various development libraries and techniques
- Strong analytical skills with great proficiency in office tools such as Excel and PowerPoint to drive conversation with data.
- Architectural design across traditional and modern technologies and environments (on-prem, cloud).
- Comfortably navigates and applies architectural paradigms at all levels of the technology stack - from data centers, networks, compute and storage resources to platforms and client facing applications.
- Versed in data management and data security concepts, considerations, and technologies.
- Displays a strong work ethic, proactive and committed to continuous learning and challenging own assumptions.
- Collaborative approach and experience in driving outcomes across functions.
- Strong communication, relationship management and influencing skills, both in person and remotely.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, detail oriented.
- Ability to articulate complex topics in a concise manner.
- Excellent documentation and presentation skills.
