Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, optimize, and maintain SQL stored procedures, functions, triggers, and packages.
- Design and implement robust database structures to support business requirements.
- Perform performance tuning and query optimization for high-volume transactional databases. Very good understanding in reading and analyzing explain plan and fixing performance issues.
- Deep experience and "Hands- On" experience in designing, and building enterprise-class relational and dimensional data models
- Extensive experience in advanced database skills such as oracle in-memory, data partitioning, stat gather, data purging, materialized views, index and stored procedures.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL and related programming languages such as PL/SQL, and Unix
- Implement data security and backup strategies in compliance with enterprise policies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database issues to ensure system reliability and performance.
- Maintain documentation and best practices for database development and deployment processes
