Job Description
- As a Front-end Engineer at Freshworks, you will be responsible for implementing client-side systems and code to create user interfaces that ensure a seamless experience for our customers. Collaborating closely with backend engineers, architects, designers, and product managers, you will play a key role in developing scalable and maintainable UI systems and features. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Having a minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience - Planning, estimating, and analyzing requirements for assigned projects - Leading a team of developers while also actively contributing as a front-end developer - Collaborating with design, product management, and development teams to create elegant, responsive, and interactive interfaces - Ensuring code quality and adherence to set guidelines and standards - Testing completed tasks before delivering to QA and focusing on timely delivery - Training and mentoring team members in technical aspects - Implementing and supporting compliance to Freshworks" processes related to compliance and information security To excel in this role, you should possess: - Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, and SASS - Excellent proficiency in Javascript and JQuery - Familiarity with MVC architecture and OOP programming - Ability to work with Javascript frameworks like Backbone, Angular, EmberJs, or NodeJs - Experience with version control systems like Git - Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills - Demonstrated teamwork and leadership abilities Qualifications: - Proficiency in HTML, CSS, OO JavaScript - Exposure to one or more JS frameworks, Data Structures, and Algorithms - Experience in team mentoring and handling Freshworks values your privacy and assures that all your information will be kept confidential in accordance with EEO guidelines.
