Job Description
- As a Team Lead Software Engineer at our Pune office, you will be responsible for leading development teams, delivering scalable software solutions, and maintaining existing systems. Your role will require strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and a passion for building high-performing, secure, and user-focused applications. You will lead and mentor development teams, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices. Additionally, you will own product integrity, manage technical debt, and drive on-time delivery. Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable APIs, microservices, and enterprise-grade applications will be a key part of your responsibilities. You will collaborate in system design, architecture, testing, deployment, and CI/CD implementation. Coaching junior developers, conducting code reviews, and ensuring comprehensive test coverage will also be important aspects of your role. Active contribution to agile ceremonies and recruitment processes will be expected from you. Your critical skill set should include proficiency in languages & frameworks such as Java, Golang, ReactJS, Angular, NextJS, and Spring Boot. Backend expertise in areas like Microservices, REST APIs, and Pub/Sub (Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ) is essential. Frontend expertise in ReactJS, Angular, TypeScript, Redux, and Micro-frontend architecture will also be required. Familiarity with databases & cloud technologies like PostgreSQL, Redis, Snowflake, and AWS is necessary. Experience with DevOps tools including Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing (TDD/BDD) will be advantageous. Soft skills like strong leadership, mentoring, problem-solving, and communication skills are also crucial for this role. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. You must have at least 7 years of experience in software engineering, particularly in B2B SaaS and enterprise-grade applications. Proven line management and team leadership experience are highly desirable. An AWS certification would be a plus.
