Job Description
- We are seeking an experienced Lead Ruby on Rails Developer with a solid background in developing scalable and high-performance web applications. As the ideal candidate, you should possess a minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in Ruby on Rails, coupled with a successful history of leading development teams, steering projects, and delivering robust software solutions. Your main responsibilities will include leading and mentoring a team of Ruby on Rails developers, conceptualizing, designing, and executing high-quality web applications, collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to determine project requirements, reviewing code to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards, troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing application performance, as well as overseeing project timelines, deliverables, and team efficiency. To excel in this role, you should have 8+ years of professional Ruby on Rails development experience, a profound understanding of MVC architecture, RESTful APIs, and database design, familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, with knowledge of React/Vue considered advantageous, demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities, exceptional problem-solving and communication skills, a working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies, and experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP. Additionally, exposure to CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and microservices architecture would be beneficial. The job type is full-time, offering the benefit of working from home.
